A man’s reportedly attempted to take a dog from a teenage girl in Swindon.

The girl, accompanied by a friend, was walking a black labrador in the Old Shaw Lane area of Shaw, West Swindon earlier this afternoon when the incident happened.

The male, who had an unknown foreign accent, is said to have exited a truck and approached the pair. It’s claimed he began asking questions about the dog before attempting to take him.

The teenagers screamed and called for help before running to safety. Neither the girls or the dog were harmed during the incident.

More follows.
