A man reportedly grabbed a three-year-old girl and began kissing her in Swindon.
The suspect is said to taken hold of the child’s hand in Ferndale Road – near Whitehouse Road – at around 10.30am on Friday, 20 November.
It’s claimed he kissed her hand several times, before moving on to kissing her face.
The incident took place whilst the young girl’s mother was helping a friend load possessions into a vehicle ahead of a house move. The nearly three-and-a-half-year-old was closeby at the time, and the man was warned off by the victim’s mother seconds into the attack.
He’s said to have fled the scene on foot shouting “sorry” repeatedly.
“[My daughter] is a bit scared and I feel sick to the stomach but I am lucky, the police are taking this extremely seriously and are trying to track him down”, the victim’s mother said.
Adding: “Please please please never let ur kids out of [your sight], not even down an aisle of a store. If someone can approach my daughter in front of her mum and another adult and do what he did then I dread to think what else will happen to them.
“I’m just so glad I still have my girl safe with me, the thought of her being taken from me has absolutely petrified me.”
