Man dies in Trowbridge as 999 crews attend early hours incident

A man has died after emergency services attended an incident in Trowbridge.

999 crews raced to an address in Longfield Road at around 4am this morning (Thursday).

Several ambulance vehicles and numerous police cars were spotted in attendance.

Medics battled to save the life of a man, aged in his 70s, but he was pronounced dead.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that his next of kin has been informed and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
