A man has died after collapsing in cardiac arrest at the roadside in Melksham.
Emergency services responded to the serious medical incident in Lowbourne shortly after 2.45pm yesterday afternoon (16 January).
Critical car medics from Wiltshire Air Ambulance were among the 999 crews attending the scene with local ambulance crews and several police units.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man – aged in his 80s, was pronounced dead.
“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
