A man has reportedly suffered burns in a fire at a property in Melksham.
Emergency services were called to Woodstock Gardens at around 9.45am today (Tuesday).
A bungalow caught fire, with crews three crews from Trowbridge, Calne and Chippenham working to battle the flames.
The occupant of the home, a man, was brought to safety by firefighters. He’s believed to have sustained burns.
Paramedics are currently treating the casualty at the scene.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said that firefighting was continuing at 10.25am.
A large smoke plume could be seen, but it has since dissipated.
An investigation into the cause will follow when the flames are out and it is safe to do so.
The road is currently closed in both directions.
