A man has been charged with ‘attempting to take two young girls’ in Swindon.
Prasath Yasasvin is accused of trying to lure the youngsters into his vehicle in Redhouse Way at around 7.20pm on Monday (1 April).
The 38-year-old, of Dunley Close, Swindon, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court today (Wednesday)
He faces to two charges of attempted child abduction and another of being drunk in charge of a vehicle, an MG 4.
Due to the serious nature of the allegations, the case was sent to Swindon Crown Court and the defendant was remanded in custody.
He will next appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 26 April.
