A man has been arrested after woman was found dead in Wiltshire village.
Emergency services were called to reports of a body in the Benin Road area of Perham Down, near Ludgershall, on Sunday 26 January.
Further details about the circumstances of the death have not been released by police.
However, the force confirmed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and controlling and coercive behaviour in connection with the incident.
In a statement, a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said “Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.”
They added: “A specialist Family Liaison Officer is supporting the victim’s family and we’ve increased patrols in the local area to support our communities at this time.
“We are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident, and to preserve the integrity of the investigation, we ask that people do not speculate further.”
