A woman has been arrested for string of offences following a crash in Swindon.
Police were called to reports of a disorder breaking out at the scene of a road traffic collision in Holden Crescent, Abbey Meads, on Saturday morning (14 June).
Officers arrived at the incident at around 9am, and found two cars – a blue Mercedes and a white Audi A3 – had been damaged in the smash.
It’s claimed the driver of the Mercedes, a 20-year-old woman, proceeded to assault the driver of the Audi before being arrested for affray.
The woman was also arrested on suspicion of drink driving, possession of a controlled drug, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance, driving without care and attention and fraudulently using a registration mark.
She was released with no further action in relation to drink driving following the evidential reading provided in custody, but remains on bail for the other offences while investigative work is carried out.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that nobody sustained any serious injuries in the incident.
