A Malmesbury field has been cordoned off after the discovery of a gory scene in the early hours of this morning.
Significant pools of blood could be seen at the bottom of steps in a paved area at Daniel’s Well, whilst a trail of bloody footprints lead to the scene from The Maltings.
On Facebook this morning, local police asked anyone with information about the “suspicious incident” to contact them, with detectives arriving at the scene at just before 1pm.
