A major search and rescue operation is underway for a missing man near Salisbury.
35-year-old Yussef Nadim was last seen at an address in the city yesterday afternoon.
Specially trained volunteers from both Wiltshire Search and Rescue and Hampshire Search and Rescue are supporting Wiltshire Police with the operation in the Winterbourne Gunner area.
He is described as white, with a shaved head and a short cut auburn beard. He is of slim build and around five foot nine inches tall.
He is wearing a green wax three quarter length jacket and navy blue canvas trousers.
A police spokesperson said: “Our enquiries suggest he could be in the Winterbourne Gunner area, but we are urging anyone who has seen him anywhere in the county to call us.
“Due to the adverse weather he may be sheltering from the rain, so please call 999 and quote log 299 of yesterday (18/06) if you believe you have seen him.”
