A major road in Swindon has been closed following a gas leak.
Fire crews are attending the incident in Mead Way after a call this morning (Thursday).
The road is closed in both directions, with locals told to close their windows and doors.
The route is shut between Shaw Road, near the Shell garage, and Whitehill Way.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: “Mead Way, Swindon, is currently closed between the Shell Garage and Whitehill Way due to a gas leak.
“Local residents please keep doors and windows closed.”
