A main road to Devizes has been closed in one direction following a major oil spill.
The A361 has been shut by police at the Beckhampon roundabout after a tractor leaked hydraulic oil over a significant stretch of the road – about one mile.
Motorists travelling from Devizes towards Beckhampton face delays, but the road remains open at this time. However, this could change as clean-up efforts begin.
It’s not yet clear how long the busy main road will be closed.
