Hundreds of homes in the north Wiltshire are without power on Christmas Day.
89 postcodes beginning with SN15 are affected, meaning thousands are likely to be suffering from a power outage in the Chippenham and Corsham area.
SSE say the power cut happened at around 11am and isn’t expected to be fixed until 2pm.
A spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for the loss of supply.
“Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.
