A fire has broken out at the factory of struggling firm Airsprung Beds in Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called to reports of a major blaze at the site off Canal Road shortly after 3.15pm this afternoon (Tuesday).
The British bedmaker, which sells through retailers like Argos and Dunelm, has filed a notice of its intention to appoint administrators after facing severe financial pressures.

The move, which was filed on 22 April, is intended to give the company short-term breathing space while it explores options with stakeholders to try to save the business.
Firefighters from Trowbridge, Warminster, Devizes and Chippenham at battling the flames.
The fire involves “manufacturing waste and pallets in a factory yard”, according to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The main factory is currently unaffected.
“There is a lot of smoke so please keep doors and windows closed if you’re nearby and affected”, the fire service said in a notice on social media.
Wiltshire Council described the blaze as “major”, also encouraging locals to close their windows and doors. A spokesperson confirmed that no road closures are in place – but this could change.
