A homeless man was found dead in a public toilet in Cirencester last week.
Emergency services were called to The Forum Car Park, in the town centre, at around 11.10am on Tuesday 7 October.
On arrival, a man – aged in his 50s – was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
According to a source, the man was homeless and had taken shelter in the public toilets – which is a common occurrence in Cirencester.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said: “Emergency services were called to a concern for welfare at The Forum in Cirencester at around 11.10am on Tuesday, October 7.
“A man in his 50s was confirmed dead at the scene.
“It is not being treated as suspicious, and the next of kin and coroner have been informed.”
