Forensics investigation work is ongoing at the scene of a knife attack in Swindon.
A teenage boy was rushed to hospital after he presented himself to police officers with slashed wrists outside the Link Centre in Link Avenue at around 5pm (Saturday, 29 October).
Pouring with blood, the officers – who were in the area at the time – provided emergency first aid ahead of the arrival of an ambulance crew.
The attack is thought to have taken place at the rear of the busy leisure complex, which is cordoned off alongside the area where he was found bleeding out.
A manhunt is underway as officers search for those involved. Forensics arrived as darkness descended on the scene in an attempt to gather vital evidence to identify the preperator/s.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed a “teenager was cut across the wrists”.
Adding that a “cordon has been set up while officers investigate”.
