A footpath alongside a Swindon road was cordoned off by police after a woman was injured.
Emergency services were called to County Road, close to Transfer Bridges Roundabout, at around 1.30pm this afternoon (Thursday).
A woman was found to have sustained a cut to her head and received treatment from paramedics.
Police cordoned off the footpath for around an hour while the incident was dealt with, the road was also partially blocked by blue light vehicles.
It’s believed the casualty sustained the injury during a fall. Though officers were spotted carrying out door-to-door enquiries in the area following the incident.
However, Wiltshire Police has confirmed that there is “no threat and no suspicious circumstances”.
