Five males – including two teenage boys – arrested in connection with a stabbing in Swindon on Saturday night have been released on conditional bail by detectives.
Paramedics treated a 17-year-old boy for multiple stab wounds following a disorder involving a group of people on Whitworth Road, outside Premier Express, at around 11.30pm.
A crime scene cordon was erected following the incident; it was in place until midday on Sunday.
We arrested six local males aged 16, 17, 19, 19, 23 and 26 on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH). Five of those males have been released on conditional bail. The other, a 19-year-old male, is still in custody held in relation to a separate matter he was wanted for.
The injured teenager was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
