Firefighters successfully rescue Melksham child with leg stuck in cot

Firefighters have rescued a child with their leg stuck in a cot.

A single crew from Trowbridge attended the incident in Hurricane Road, Melksham, shortly after 1pm today (3 September).

The “young child” managed to become trapped in the cot, with firefighters successfully freeing the youngster safely.

The child didn’t require any medical treatment following the ordeal.
