Two people are being treated by paramedics after a serious disorder in a village near Swindon.
Emergency services were called to Windmill Piece, Chiseldon, at around 8pm tonight following a report of a disorder involving a group of people.
It is believed a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were injured – the man is believed to have been struck with an item which caused a puncture-type wound. The woman suffered a facial injury.
An 18-year-old man also sustained a minor injury during the attack.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
“Enquiries are currently ongoing and residents living nearby should expect to see a police presence in the area this evening as officers carry out enquiries.
“At this stage, no arrests have been made.
“The incident happened in a busy residential street so there are likely to be a number of witnesses. If you saw or heard anything suspicious, call 101 and quote log number 309.
