Emergency services are racing to a lorry fire on the M4 westbound in Wiltshire.
Fire crews and police are en route to the incident between Junction 16 for Swindon and Junction 17 for Chippenham this evening (Thursday).
The first 999 call is believed to have come in at around 6.30pm.
The motorway is likely to be closed to allow firefighters to tackle the blaze and for the safety of motorists if there is a significant smoke plume.
