Emergency services called to two-car crash on Drakes Way junction in Swindon

Emergency services are currently attending a road traffic collision involving two vehicles in Swindon.

The crash happened on the Drakes Way junction with Ocotal Way at around 9pm, with two cars suffering significant damage.

The junction is blocked whilst police await for recovery of the two vehicles — a silver Skoda and a silver Peugeot.

Despite the the damage to both cars, no one was hurt — neither of the vehicle were carrying passengers. Following an assessment by paramedics at the scene, the drivers of the vehicles were discharged.

The road is likely to remain partially blocked in the direction of Greenbridge / Ocotal Way until 10.30pm.
