An elderly pedestrian has been struck by a van in a Wiltshire village.
Emergency services were called the road traffic collision in Broadfields, Pewsey, at around 12.20pm this afternoon (Friday).
A man, aged in his 90s, was hit by a large white van and sustained injuries.
Locals reported seeing four or five police vehicles and a doctor in a rapid response vehicle were in attendance – but an ambulance didn’t arrive until later.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but his wounds aren’t thought to be life-changing.
The force added: “The driver stopped at the scene. No arrests were made.”
