Duo suspected of damaging police vehicles at Swindon car meet

Police have released photos of a duo suspected of damaging two police vehicles.

The damage happened at a car meet on Hawksworth Industrial Estate in Swindon on 30 September.

The incident occurred at the Wiltshire Car Scene meet which resulted in several people being struck by a driver who was performing donuts in a car.

Police officers attended the location in a bid to ensure public safety, but were targeted by some members of the large gathering.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are appealing for your help to identify these two men following criminal damage at a car meet in Hawthorne Industrial Estate.

“Two police vehicles were damaged at the gathering on September 30.

“We believe these two men could help us with our enquiries.

“If this is you, or you recognise the men, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54230103873. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
