A driver has been taken to hospital after his car hit a house in Blunsdon.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Swindon shortly before 8pm last night following reports a car had left the road and collided with a house.
At the incident, in Ermin Street, firefighters used acro props to make the front of the building safe before rescuing the driver of the car from his vehicle.
He was successfully extricated by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and taken to hospital.
Wiltshire Police said his injuries are not believed to be serious.
In a statement, the force wrote: “At approximately 7.40pm we responded to a vehicle collision with a house on Ermin Street, Blunsdon, along with the fire and ambulance services.
“A man was taken to hospital as a precaution for his injuries which are not believed to be serious.
“No offences were committed.”
