A man has been ‘punched’ in a suspected road rage incident in Swindon.

In the altercation happened at around 3.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday, 17 April, under Transfer Bridges near to Swindon Car & Van Rental.

Two vehicles stopped, blocking the road, and a man was seen to receive a punch to the face knocking his glasses off. The punch was given by the passenger of a black Mazda.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the assault.

“We are appealing for other witnesses, who may have seen two vehicles stopped and the men involved in some sort of altercation, to come forward – and more importantly the victim (the person allegedly assaulted) to come forward.”
