A driver was arrested moments after leaving Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
A man attended a hearing in relation to a drug driving offence – but the hearing was adjourned.
As the defendant left the court, concerns were raised about their ability to drive.
Officers stopped the driver – who was in a white Hyundai i10 – in Swindon town centre.
Complying with a roadside drug wipe, he provided a positive sample.
He was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and is now in police custody.
