More than 60 firefighters are tackling a major fire at thatched cottage near Swindon.
The fire service was called to the property at around 7.30am this morning.
The road between Chideldon and Hodson (the back of Coate Water) is closed by police in both directions and is likely to remain closed for all of today.
12 fire crews are currently at the scene, along with two water carriers and a command unit.
No one has been injured; the occupants of the building were at home when the fire started.
The British Red Cross is en-route to support those involved in the incident.
