A Devizes house fire which killed a man has been deemed ‘non suspicious’.
The 77-year-old victim died after flames ripped through a property in Ferozeshah Road at around 7pm on Saturday evening (18 January).
Critical care medics from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and local ambulance crews attended the scene, but he couldn’t be revived.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, who have led an investigation into the blaze, have confirmed that there are “not thought to be any suspicious circumstances”.
A report will be sent to the HM coroner, who will assess the evidence and determine the cause of death.
