A delivery driver had his van stolen in Trowbridge town centre this afternoon.
Police were called to the incident in Stallard Street at around 2.30pm, but soon left following a report of a van having been abandoned under a CCTV camera in a narrow lane.
Six police vehicles, including a dog unit and unmarked cars, on blue lights and sirens, were seen racing down Canal Road and into Ladydown Lane at just before 3pm.
At the bottom of the lane, officers found the white van with packages from within stolen.
