Delays following collision on Aveune La Fleche in Chippenham

There are traffic delays in the Chippenham town centre after this evening, following a road traffic collision on one of the town’s main roads, Avenue La Fleche.

Two vehicles were involved in a shunt near to the junction with Gladstone Road at around 4pm this afternoon, Wednesday 15 March.

Emergency services, including three ambulances, attended the scene.

Earlier RTC in Chippenham is causing delays of up to 30 minutes on all services departing Chippenham at the moment.

Two people were treated for minor injuries.

The road is partially blocked, and normal traffic conditions are expected to return following the recovery of the vehicles involved at around 6.30pm.
