Police are hunting a fleeing driver after a cyclist was hit off their bicycle.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Lower Road, Quidhampton, near Salisbury, at around 12.30pm on Monday (3 June).
A cyclist was struck by a car – believed to be a green Mazda MX-5. The driver reportedly fled the scene at high speed.
The victim sustained leg injuries and was treated by an ambulance crew. The severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are appealing for anybody that was travelling in the area of Lower Road, Quidhampton, between 12.15pm and 12.30pm yesterday that may have dash cam footage to get in touch.
“We are specifically looking for a green Mazda MX-5 that we believe may have been involved and travelled away in the direction of Salisbury.
