A cyclist has been airlifted after a crash with a van in a country lane near Melksham.
Emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision in Bradford Road, just south of Atworth, at around 3.30pm on Wednesday (1 July).
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity attended in a helicopter, while Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance responded in a rapid response vehicle.

A 66-year-old male cyclist sustained significant injuries on impact with a van.
He was stabilised on scene before being airlifted to the Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for urgent care. He remains there for treatment.

The driver of the van was uninjured and remained at the scene.
A forensic collision investigation was launched, with the road – close to Stonar School – closed for around 12 hours.
