A crossroads smash blocked the A420 in Chippenham this afternoon (Sunday).
Two vehicles sustained front-end damage in the incident on the junction outside Allington Farm Shop.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 3pm, with police, fire crews and the ambulance service all in attendance.
Firefighters are understood to have moved the vehicles – an Audi A5 and a Ford Fiesta – into Sheldon Corner so the road could be reopened.
At least two people were assessed by paramedics in ambulances at the collision – but it’s not clear if anybody was taken to hospital for treatment.
Nobody’s thought to have been seriously injured.
