Crime scene in place after violent disorder involving weapons in Swindon

Forensic investigators are currently attending the scene of a violent disorder involving weapons in Swindon.

The incident took place in Winsley Close, Penhill, at around 8.20pm last night, and involved a group of people.

A few of those involved suffered injuries and one required hospital treatment. None of the injuries are life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Following initial police enquiries, four people were arrested and are currently in police custody.

”Our enquiries continue but we are now asking any members of the public who witnessed or have information relating to the incident to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 and quote log number 262 of yesterday.”
