UPDATE: Three people injured in ‘racial’ attack outside Swindon supermarket
A crime scene is in place after a serious assault outside Asda in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the supermarket, off Link Avenue, at around 6pm this evening (Tuesday).
A person, believed to be a male, is understood to have sustained significant injuries and has been rushed to hospital for urgent care.
The entrance to Asda, next to McDonald’s, has been cordoned off as a crime scene.
Within the taped area is a pool of blood and accompanying spatter.
Asda and McDonald’s remain open at this time, but are only accessible from the Ashington Way/Toothill side of the building.
Further details are not yet known.
