UPDATE: Driver taken to hospital after rush-hour crash in Trowbridge
A crash has shut a road in Trowbridge as police and ambulance attend the scene.
Emergency services were called to Bradford Road shortly after 5pm today (Wednesday).
The road traffic collision – which involved two cars – happened on Trowle Bridge, near Enterprise vehicle rental.
The road is closed both ways between Cockhill/ Brook Road and Wingfield Road.
It’s understood nobody was seriously hurt, but the road is blocked by damaged vehicles and debris – which are due to be recovered in due course.
