A crash involving a bus and a car has blocked a Swindon town centre route.
999 crews were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Faringdon Road at around 2pm this afternoon (Thursday).
The incident involved a Swindon Bus Company bus and a black Renault Clio.
Passengers travelling on the bus have been evacuated, but nobody is believed to have been injured in the incident.
The road is closed between Holbrook Way and Farnsby Street. However, motorists may be able to pass the scene when one lane is reopened.
It’s not clear how the crash occurred, but there doesn’t appear to be any significant damage to the bus or car.
