A court has bailed a former Swindon teacher over alleged child sex offences.
On Tuesday (17 February), Chris Fox appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court to face a string of ten charges relating to the sexual abuse of young boys.
The 39-year-old, of Hawthorn Avenue, Pinehurst, is accused of sexual activity with children as young as 12.
The case was deemed too serious to be heard at a magistrates court, and as such, it was sent to Swindon Crown Court for a plea hearing next month.
Fox previously worked at many schools in Swindon, including Drove Road Primary School, Mountford Manor Primary School and Lawn Manor Academy.
The alleged offending is said to have happened between 2012 and 2022, though at this stage it’s not clear whether it was linked to his teaching career.
