A casualty has been pronounced dead after an incident in a village near Melksham.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was among the emergency services who responded to reports of an unresponsive man in Whitley on Thursday (19 March).
999 crews lined Kennedy Avenue as they attended the scene at around 4.30pm, with numbers police vehicles present alongside ambulance crews.
The air ambulance helicopter touched down close to Whitley Golf Club, as the charity’s critical care medics rushed to the serious incident.
A man, aged in his 90s, was declared deceased, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed.
The force said that there are “not believed to be any suspicious circumstances”, and his next of kin has been informed.
A file will be prepared for the coroner, they added.
