A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital with head injuries following an incident near Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Stanley Lane, Stanley, at around 8pm.
Critical care medics from Wiltshire Air Ambulance and volunteer doctors from SWIFT Medics attended road traffic collision involving the female rider.
The female patient has been flown to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
The road has been closed in both directions by police and collision investigators are working at the scene.
