Cars stolen from homes with keys in Staverton on three consecutive nights

Cars have been stolen from the driveways of three homes in Staverton.

One vehicle theft took place on each of the last three consecutive nights, between Wednesday and Friday, in the village two miles north of Trowbridge.

Thieves have gained access to each of the unrelated houses, stolen the keys from within and driven off with the cars.

Wiltshire Police is warning residents to ensure that every entry point to their house is locked at all times, as one of the victims was was in the living room when the house was entered.

Residents are also advised to take all car keys and other valuables to their bedroom at night.
