A car was completely wrecked in an early morning smash on the A36 in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to the incident south of Salisbury at around 7am this morning (Saturday).
Two vehicles were involved in the road traffic collision on the A36 between A27 at Whiteparish and A3090 at Wigley – right on the Wiltshire border with Hampshire.
A blue Vauxhall Agila was smashed up beyond recognition in the crash. Miraculously, nobody was seriously injured.
Wiltshire Police are warning motorists to “drive to the conditions”, adding that it’s “cold and icy out”.
The road was closed until around 9am – when it reopened in both directions.
