A busy route in Wiltshire has reopened after a pedestrian was killed by a lorry.
Two air ambulances were scrambled after the man, aged in his 60s, was knocked down by a HGV on the A4 Bath Road on Thursday morning (4 December).
Emergency services were called to the fatal incident just outside Marlborough at 10.40am, with the casualty pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

A forensic collision investigation got underway, resulting in the road being closed in both directions near Golding Avenue for many hours. By 9pm the road had reopened.
In a statement at the time, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A man has sadly died following a collision on the A4 in Marlborough this morning (04/12).
“At around 10.40am, we received a report that a pedestrian, a man in his 60s, had been involved in a collision on the carriageway with a lorry travelling eastbound on the A4 Bath Road, near the junction with Golding Avenue.
“The man was sadly declared dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to establish his next of kin.
“The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.
“The road remains closed in both directions while a full investigation into the collision is carried out.
