A road in central Swindon has been closed this evening after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Emergency services, including specialist critical care medics from Wiltshire Air Ambulance, were called to the scene at around 8pm.
The road traffic collision involving a silver Honda has left a male, in his 20s, seriously hurt on County Road — on the stretch between Manchester Road and Transfer Bridges.
The casualty has been taken to Great Western Hospital via land ambulance.
