A crime scene has been put in place in a street in Swindon this afternoon, after emergency services raced to the scene of a ‘violent assault’ there.
A dozen police vehicles and a number of ambulances were seen blue-lighting it down Eldene Drive and onto Kennedy Drive at just before 5pm, where a large cordon is in place.
Crime scene investigators and detectives from Swindon CID are attending.
A police sergeant at the scene told Wiltshire 999s that they are carrying out an investigation into ‘a violent assault’.
We’ve approched Wiltshire Police for comment.
