A group of boys have seriously assaulted a man in Warminster, police say.
Up to 15 males are said to have attacked the victim in Portway Road, just up the road from the fire station, on 31 July.
The incident, which happened at around 7.15pm, left a man, aged in his 40s, requiring a three-day hospital stay for treatment.
The suspects are believed to have been aged between 10 and 17, and some were on bikes at the time.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We believe there were a number of cars and members of the public passing the area at the time.
