A boy was punched in a violent bicycle robbery on the Magic Roundabout.
The 14-year-old victim was approached by three males on the County Road junction between 7.40pm and 8.10pm on Tuesday (17 September).
The suspects asked the boy for his bicycle – but he refused to hand it over.
One then punched the victim in the face before making off with his bicycle.
The three suspects are described as white males. One of the males was wearing a long sleeve, light jacket, the second male was in all grey trackies and the third male was wearing shorts, a backpack and a dark coloured top.
Two of the males were on pushbikes, with the third male cycling off on the victim’s bike.
Inspector Kennedy said: “This is a serious incident where a young teenager has been assaulted and had his bike stolen.
“The incident has happened on a busy road in full public view, and CCTV footage shows members of the public and cars going by as it happened.
“We are particularly keen to speak to a witness who was walking along as the victim was trying to get away from the suspects.
“They are described as male, wearing a dark coloured top and carrying a shopping bag.
