A teenage boy has been arrested after a stolen motorbike was ridden in Wiltshire.
Roads policing officers spotted the vehicle on the A4 in Box, near Corsham, in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
The bike came to their attention because it had no rear lighting. A short investigation revealed that it was stolen from Bath at the beginning of November.
The rider, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and the case was transferred to Avon and Somerset Police.
Officers also discovered that the youngster didn’t have insurance or a licence. The vehicle was seized and will likely be returned to the owner or their insurance company.
