A body has been found in the search for missing Swindon woman, police say.
30-year-old Danielle Geraghty was last seen at around 2am yesterday (13 December).
Concerns for her welfare sparked an urgent search and a body was located this morning (Thursday).
Police have cordoned off a garden in Lennox Drive and detectives attended the scene. The focus appeared to be a small outbuilding.
The force said that enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We can confirm that a body has been found in our search for Danielle Geraghty, who was reported missing earlier today from Walcot.”
They added: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, Danielle’s family have been updated of the latest development and our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time.”
